The main subjects covered include how disability impacts on evacuation, the physical environment, planning, assistance dogs, auxiliary aids and data collation.
Description
The course is in two parts and takes approximately two hours to complete:
Part 1: The Framework Three lessons covering the Fire Safety Order, Equality Act and Health and Safety at Work Act, all of which are relevant to PEEPs. Also covered: Approved Documents, British Standards and Codes of Practice which support the legislation
Part 2: The Strategy Contains two modules:
Module 1: Five lessons covering setting the strategy in public and controlled buildings; developing a cost-effective PEEPs strategy; physical environments and building occupancy; fire alarms and suppression systems together with communication with residents and training
Module 2: Triple A Fillable Forms and a Course Review
