We’re excited to welcome Peter Bailey as our Director at Triple A Solutions, especially as a father to a disabled daughter, he brings both professional expertise and lived understanding to person-centred fire safety.
With 50 years in the fire industry, Peter brings an exceptional combination of frontline leadership, technical expertise and personal commitment. He served 31 years with West Yorkshire Fire Service as a Fire Safety Officer, Manager and Incident Commander, followed by 19 years in the private sector fire engineering.
Peter was one of the original nine graduates of the inaugural Fire Engineering honours degree at the University of Central Lancashire in 1990 — a course he was invited onto after completing advanced Flashover training in Stockholm, which was pioneering work at the time. He has led major incident responses, investigated hundreds of fires, and carried out groundbreaking research into flashover, backdraft and ventilation tactics alongside UK and international fire bodies.
