Person-centred Fire Risk Assessments (PcFRA)

I have been very grateful for all the liaison and assistance I have been provided by Triple A Solutions in relation to looking at fire safety evacuation issues for persons who may be most vulnerable in a fire situation. This is across a wide range of issues covering mobility, hearing, and cognitive impairment. Whilst the Houses of Parliament are not immediately identifiable as a high-rise residential block, there is correlation on issues in relation to the evacuation of persons, and the implementation of Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans. The work being done on e-learning and the development of the Portillon Platform is something I will be keen to keep abreast of, and can see much potential in this area of work.

I found this course to be extremely informative and eye opening! I have completed many courses in the past eight years, this is by far the most rewarding and enjoyable course to date. It gave me lots of very useful information and knowledge which I will use to enhance my skills in the workplace and evacuation and fire safety market. Thank you.

Really user friendly course, very informative, and enjoyed being able to pause many aspects to enable note taking. Particularly like the ability even when successfully completing a certain course section, you can go back and review what you have just learned again a good aid to maximising note taking.

This course was very informative in providing me with a wide variety of information relating to disabled people and people with impairments. This will assist me with any evacuation situations both in and outside of work. It also provide me vital information as to how to communicate with them in a way that makes them feel equal, respected and understood.

I think this training is very useful in terms of fire safety from the perspective of a disabled person so that the housing providers are aware of the equalities in terms of fire evacuation and put measures in place to ensure that a disabled or an impaired person can evacuate safety unaided without the help of fire rescue services. 

The course is an essential and well structured tool for ensuring safe evacuation in emergencies. it provides clear, personalised instructions based on individual needs, helping to ensure that everyone can evacuate safely and efficiently. The plan is thorough, but could benefit from regular reviews and updates to accommodate any changes in personal circumstances or building layouts.

I think that the course has been a great source of information to enable me carry out the duties of my role. I have learnt a lot and feel that the course has been very concise and condensed in a way that you can increase knowledge from reading the handout and guides provided.

The course is very comprehensive explaining all neurodiversity’s and considerations to be made in completing a peep.

This course was informative i am now more aware of how neurodiverse people are affected in emergency situations. i am more confident in my ability to create PEEP for the person.

I enjoyed the course as it was very very informative and information will be put in practice in my work.

I have learned a great deal about treating everyone as an individual with individual needs that approaches need to be adapted. I have a better understanding of neurodiversity and the challenges neurodiversity present to safe emergency evacuation.

Course was very informative. Learned what to do to make it easier for the neurodiverse person when you are meeting them. How we can help neurodiverse persons by explaining and showing them what to do in an emergency this could include letting them gently at first listen to the sound a fire alarm would make. 

I feel that the course has proven to be an invaluable tool in helping me in carrying out my role and understanding what role different personnel are responsible for. It has allowed me the option of taking on further courses in tooling me up for roles within the health and safety sector as an option going forward.
